About your new role
The EL1 Policy and Program Manager will lead the assessment of applications submitted by residential aged care providers and interpret complex data to inform decision-making and resolve technical policy inquiries. A significant portion of the role involves high-level drafting, including the preparation of ministerial correspondence, committee papers, and strategic agency documents like the Corporate Plan and Annual Report. Beyond administrative functions, the manager will actively develop and review policies and legislative frameworks
What you will need to exceed
Meet deadlines and provide quality responses for aged care accommodation policy and programs.
Develop and review policies and frameworks to support IHACPA’s functions under the Aged Care Act.
Design and deliver communication materials to help providers submit compliant RAD applications.
Oversee the assessment of applications and provide regular reporting to the Pricing Authority.
Establish and manage productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare ministerial papers, committee reports, and corporate documents like the Annual Report.
